
ABOUT
Dr. Chiranjee Lal Bagra was born to Mrs. Benarasi Devi(1925-1997) and Mr. Jaichand Lal Bagra (1917-1997) on October 07 ,1946 in Sujangarh, Rajasthan. He has a degree in commerce (B.Com) from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta and a doctorate in vegetarianism from International University, Califonia (USA). He is married to Mrs. Asha Bagra and has two sons, Samir and Somit, and a daughter, Smita.
His contribution in the field of Journalism and Shakahar Ahimsa is widely acclaimed and recognised with awards and accolades. He has widely travelled across globe and all parts of India. He has been associated with many organizations and forums in various capacities at different periods.

The organisation aims to work on non-violent agriculture and non-violent environment thus taking ahimsa to grass-root practical level and thus preserving & protecting the nature and animal kingdom. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN
Took national lead in protest against the Mourigram Abattoir including legal suit at Calcutta High court and Supreme Court at Delhi.
Successfully officiated as Chief Election Officer to elect Council Members of Bengal Bihar Orissa Digamber Jain Tirthkshetra Committee, Kolkata thrice (2002, 2007 & 2012) covering all the Jain voters of greater Kolkata and again of Surya Pahad Tirth Kshetra Committee, Assam in 2007 covering all the seven north eastern states of India.
Organised All India Pratibha Samman Honour for the first time in India and awarded Jain Ratan Awards to 26 participants from age 8 to 80, from 26 different fields for outstanding achievements in their respective fields, during Bhagwan Mahavir's 2600 birth anniversary celebration.
Undertook COMBODIA Tour along with Mahasaba Group in June 1999, to study Angkorwat Panchmeru Temple, world's largest temple complex.
