Was pioneer to take out the wings of INDIAN VEGETARIAN CONGRESS, in the Hindi heart belt, by forming its Eastern Zone Branch at Kolkata covering ENTIRE NORTH EAST, WEST BENGAL, BIHAR N ODISHA in 1994...Published bi-lingual monthly VEGETARIAN GUIDE, and became a big movement, organised many units, hold exhibitions n seminars, protested the upcoming MOURGRAM slaughterhouse at High Court and finally upto Supreme Court level taking a national lead.

Was nominated a member in the sub-committee of six members for meat policy in the X th Five Year Plan, when Shri K.C.Pant was the Dy Chairman and on my only personal written dissent note, expansion plan of 56,000 new rural slaughterhouses proposal was get rejected, well documented, biggest victory of Ahimsa in the 70 years history of Independent Indian Republic.
